Students for Choice

A group of students working to protect and ensure access to reproductive healthcare.

We met with state leaders like Tina Kotek to encourage the school to provide abortion access to students. In Eugene, the closest abortion healthcare requires travel across the city. A Crisis Pregnancy Center, Christian anti-abortion counseling advertised as abortion care, is only a few blocks off campus. We protested the CPC and spread accurate abortion healthcare options on campus. 



Media and Social Action Residential Community

My podcast focused on racial land covenants and the effort to map and remove them in my home town of Edina, MN. I interviewed the founder of the Mapping Prejudice Project, a community leader in the removal effort and an Edina High School graduate of color.

Women’s Rights


An informal focus of my studies has been on women’s issues including reproductive rights, violence against women and development strategies. 

Climate Change

Climate change is a communication problem. How can we inspire belief that climate change is real? How can we educate the public enough to understand solutions? Corporations have successfully convinced the US that individual’s are responsible every time they use a plastic straw or fail to recycle. In reality, it is these same 100 corporations that are responsible for over 70% of greenhouse emissions. I like my life here on Earth. I’d like to keep it. 


Ceasefire Now

The conflict in Israel and Palestine has been culminating for decades. However, the cost of life and total destruction being enacted in Palestine will have effects for even longer. A ceasefire is the first step to any solution.
