Our original strategy was based on individual action encouraging people to say “I can do that.”
When I became Programming Director, I developed a new strategy that was based on reducing climate anxiety and apathy through collective action and enjoyment of the outdoors.
“We can do that”
Because we like hiking, camping, walking, tanning, snowboarding, gardening, biking...We want to keep doing the things we love, with the people we love.
How do we reach people?
Our Instagram is our main platform, as well as our crowd favorite event “The Rising Games” which falls on Earth Day every year. Happy Bearthday. My role as Programming Director...
Long story, short: I project manage. I keep the club organized by leading director meetings and club meetings. I decide on the structure and projects and lend my support along the way.
