HONORS
A Nike sponsored award for taking initiative to scale a student project beyond the university setting.
This is all great.
But here’s what won’t show up in my content:
I am driven, but calm under pressure. I learned that from competitive soccer and basketball.
I see the big picture and I find a way to execute it. I learned that from playing trumpet and guitar.
I can grapple with nuanced and contradictory concepts. I learned that by engaging in political discourse.
I am unafraid to ask questions and I understand that my best ideas are collaborative. I learned that by working in teams.
But what do I want with it all?
To use creative strategies for political progress in a nonprofit, NGO, within government, or in a nonprofit specific advertising agency as a communications strategist.
I love to try everything once and I am versatile, from technical direction to project management. I have not siloed myself into a single position, which means I have the skills to take something from start to finish.
Climate issues, hostage diplomacy and women’s development are important to me.
